Bake the yellow peppers and kapia on a plate (or on a more worn grill pan, in the oven), on all sides.

Baked pepper and onion food: do you remember the foods that taste like memories and warm your body and, especially, your soul, through their simplicity and goodness?
Well, this dish is one of them.

It reminds me of my childhood, when my beloved mother used to bring a few peppers and onions from the garden, then she would break about 2-3 tomatoes from the front of the kitchen, which had a warm smell and sun taste. Then, sit down at & bdquocalit & rdquo, a meal in an old tuci pan and, wonderfully, from those 3 ingredients, results a food with a scent of buuuun, and a divine taste. It's true that my mother also made dishes that you licked on your fingers, but for me, the child & bdquode city & rdquo, my mother's food had a special taste.

What made it special was that the ingredients were picked on the spot and were crispy, fresh as they were. But also the air from the country, which after running outside for a whole day, made me, who was not really a gourmet, look even better.

You can serve hot or cold food. It's good anyway. But now it's cold in the winter, so I advise you warm. It's very good with toast. I'll give you an example of how we can cook peppers when we don't have a barbecue outside, or it's too cold to dare to go out.

Wallpaper a tray with aluminum foil (so you don't wash too much afterwards). Put the peppers in the oven heated over high heat, until the skin swells.

Half the time you turn them over. When they are baked, put them either in a covered bowl for about 10 minutes, or in a plastic food bag. Close the bag and leave it like this for about 10 minutes (or more). After that, the peppers will clean very quickly and well.

Peppers contain not only vitamin C but also significant amounts of other substances necessary for our body, such as vitamin A, vitamin E, lycopene, folic acid, potassium, etc.

And the researchers also tell us that red pepper is healthier than green pepper, being 2 times richer in vitamin A and C than the latter. It is also said that regular consumption of red peppers can reduce the risk of heart attack.

How to prepare kapia baked peppers:

Wash the kapia pepper well and bake it on the stove. Then chop the kapia pepper in the food processor. It should not be chopped very finely like pasta.

In a saucepan add the oil, then add the mustard and then the honey. Mix the entire contents. Stir until we get a homogeneous and consistent paste.

After that we will add the chopped kapia pepper paste. The fire will start and everything will mix very well. Then let the contents simmer. It must be left to boil until the oil rises to the surface.

After an hour and a half of cooking, the oil came to the surface. Then we will add salt and pepper to taste. Turn off the heat and let the mixture rest for about 30 minutes.

Placing the pasta in jars

After that, the kapia pepper paste will be put in jars. The jars must be well washed and sterilized. They are sterilized in the stove oven. At the end, after the jars are filled, put the lids on. Likewise, the lids must be washed and wiped.

After that, the jars are turned with the lid down and left to cool. A blanket will be placed over the jars. They must be cooled to room temperature.

This kapia pepper paste is very good for grilling.

I don't know about you, but I really like baked peppers. :)) I prepared them in combination with pods and a very good dish came out.

Heat the oil in a pan, add the finely chopped onion and garlic and 2-3 tablespoons of water. Leave them on the fire for about 2-3 minutes.

Add the boiled and drained pods. Saute them for a few minutes together with the onion and garlic over a good heat.

Put the peppers and broth, then add a cup of water and simmer for approx. Ten minutes. At the end, add salt and pepper to taste, then sprinkle with chopped parsley.
