Eating green bean meal

My favorite food from childhood, during the summer. We called them "pods." It was most often made in a cauldron on a ridge. The green beans were never boiled beforehand, but were put directly into the pot for cooking. Sometimes, to make the food more filling or when there were few beans, new potatoes were added. But I always preferred the simple version, only with garlic.

  • 1 kg of green bean pods
  • 1 onion
  • 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • salt

Green bean pods are chosen, the tips are broken. If you want, break the pods into 2-3 segments, I leave them whole. Wash well and allow to drain.

Heat the olive oil in a large bowl (for example, a wok pan), lightly frying the finely chopped onion.

Add the green bean pods, salt and pour 1 glass of water.

Leave on medium to low heat, stirring occasionally, until the beans are soft. It takes me about 30-35 minutes.

If necessary, add a little more water along the way. The point is, there's no juice left in the end. So if the beans are ready, but there is still liquid on the bottom of the pot, turn on the heat and leave without a lid, until the liquid evaporates.

When the green pod beans are done (it becomes flexible and is no longer crispy to taste), add the crushed garlic and turn off the heat.

Bean meal, a simple, seasonal recipe, which I make very often during the summer and beyond. It is delicious eaten as such or as a side dish, it is prepared quickly and is very tasty.

You can choose bean pods which you like, it is important to be fresh, tender and crunchy.

  • 550 g pod beans (weighed after cleaning)
  • 3-4 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 150 ml concentrated tomato juice (or 3-4 fresh tomatoes)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • fresh thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • dill

How to prepare bean meal

First we wash, clean and break the beans into pieces.

In a bowl heat the oil and heat the onion with a pinch of salt until it softens and becomes glassy. Add the pods and a cup of water (about 250 ml), a few sprigs of thyme, salt and pepper to taste. cover and simmer until the pods begin to soften, about 15 minutes.

Then add the tomato paste, crushed garlic and cook for another 10 minutes.

*If you use fresh tomatoes, peel them, finely chop them and add them to the food.

When ready, turn off the heat and add the chopped dill.

That's it! Simple, fast and tasty, good appetite!

Fasting yellow bean dish

Today, we are preparing a delicious fasting yellow bean dish. You can do it too, very easily, whenever you want a good tasting and healthy food.

Beans are part of the legume family, along with soy, lentils, peas, chickpeas. It has its origins in Central and South America. There are many varieties of beans, but the varieties of yellow and green beans are the most popular in our country.

The yellow color of the pods comes from flavonoids, substances with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.

The green color of the pods comes from the high chlorophyll content, which has a purifying and antitoxic action.

Why eat more yellow and green beans?

Yellow beans are considered one of the few vegetables rich in both protein and fiber that lead to the regulation and control of cholesterol.

Bean fiber helps prevent constipation.

Due to the content of cellulose, folic acid, magnesium and potassium, the consumption of yellow beans reduces the risk of cardiac arrest.

The use of yellow beans in the diet is a source of vitamin C.

Bean pods are diuretic, hypoglycemic, mineralizing.

Now that I've listed a bunch of the benefits of yellow beans, I'm going to present you with a light fasting recipe with yellow beans, very tasty.

Besides bean soup with coconut cream, low yellow bean food is one of my favorite foods.

Fasting yellow bean meal & # 8211

We put on the fire about 1 liter of boiling water.

It's good to have, even if we don't use it all. Then we clean the onion, wash it and chop it.

If you find a lot of onions, believe me it isn't. Onions are the ones that give it a perfect taste.

In a larger saucepan put the oil, chopped onion and a little boiled water.

Add salt and leave over medium heat until the onions are soft.

After a few minutes, add the frozen beans and add a little more water. Put the lid on and let it boil.

From time to time, we add more water.

When the beans are well cooked, turn off the heat, add salt, if necessary.

Add the crushed garlic (if you prefer) and the freshly chopped parsley.

I don't put garlic. You can put it if you want. I also like it without garlic. It is absolutely delicious.

Time to prepare the fasting recipe with beans

You have a few ingredients and you get a food with a special taste. It goes very well with pickles.

It's done fast. It is a very easy fasting recipe.

Pickles contain natural probiotics that grow in the pickling process.

Probiotics are beneficial bacteria and microbes that live in the intestines and play an important role in digestion.

When they reach the body, they strengthen immunity and acquire therapeutic properties. Pickles have antibiotic and antiviral effect.

Garlic, dill, mustard seeds, horseradish and celery leaves used in their preparation contain substances that protect the nervous and endocrine systems and fight against microbes and viruses.

What type of information is stored and accessed through cookies?

Cookies store information in a small text file that allows a website to recognize a browser. The web server will recognize the browser until the cookie expires or is deleted. The cookie stores important information that improves the Internet browsing experience (eg the settings of the language in which you want to access a site, keeping a user logged in to the webmail account, online banking security, keeping products in the shopping cart)

Why are cookies important for the Internet?

Cookies represent the central point of the efficient functioning of the Internet, helping to generate a friendly browsing experience and adapted to the preferences and interests of each user. Declining or disabling cookies may make some sites impossible to use. Refusing or disabling cookies does not mean that you will no longer receive online advertising - but only that it will no longer be able to take into account your preferences and interests, highlighted by browsing behavior.

Examples of important uses of cookies (which do not require a user to authenticate through an account):
Content and services tailored to user preferences - categories of news, weather, sports, maps, public and government services, entertainment sites and travel services.
Offers adapted to users' interests - password retention, language preferences (Ex: displaying search results in Romanian).
Retention of child protection filters on Internet content (family mode options, safe search functions).
Limit the frequency of ad serving - Limit the number of impressions of an ad for a particular user on a site.
Providing more relevant advertising for the user.
Measurement, optimization and analytics features - such as confirming a certain level of traffic on a website, what type of content is viewed and how a user gets to a website (eg through search engines, directly from other websites etc). Websites conduct these analyzes of their use to improve the sites for the benefit of users.
Security and privacy issues

Cookies are NOT viruses! They use plain text formats. They are not made up of pieces of code so they cannot be executed or auto-run. Consequently, they cannot be duplicated or replicated on other networks to run or replicate again. Because they cannot perform these functions, they cannot be considered viruses. However, cookies can be used for negative purposes. Because it stores information about users' preferences and browsing history, both on a particular site and on several other sites, cookies can be used as a form of Spyware. Many anti-spyware products are aware of this and constantly mark cookies to be deleted during anti-virus / anti-spyware deletion / scanning procedures. In general, browsers have integrated privacy settings that provide different levels of acceptance of cookies, validity period and automatic deletion after the user has visited a particular site.

Other security issues related to cookies

Because identity protection is very valuable and represents the right of every internet user, it is advisable to know what possible problems cookies can create. Because through them information is constantly transmitted in both directions between the browser and the website, if an attacker or unauthorized person intervenes during the transmission of data, the information contained in the cookie may be intercepted. Although very rare, this can happen if the browser connects to the server using an unencrypted network (eg an unsecured WiFi network). Other cookie-based attacks involve incorrect cookie settings on servers. If a website does not require the browser to use only encrypted channels, attackers can use this vulnerability to trick browsers into sending information through unsecured channels. Attackers then use the information in order to gain unauthorized access to certain sites. It is very important to be careful in choosing the most appropriate method of personal information protection.

Many of the spyware detection and prevention applications include site attack detection. This prevents the browser from accessing websites that could exploit browser vulnerabilities or download malicious software. Make sure your browser is always up to date. Many of the cookie-based attacks are exploited by exploiting the weaknesses of older versions of browsers.

Cookies are everywhere and cannot be avoided if you want to enjoy access to the best and largest sites on the Internet - local or international. Green beans with tasty sauce - fasting recipe

  • 500 g of green beans
  • 1 red
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 100 ml of coconut milk
  • ½ teaspoon of mustard seeds
  • ½ teaspoon of curry powder
  • ½ teaspoon of paprika
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Method of preparation

In this recipe you can use both fresh and frozen beans.

Wash the cases. If they are too long, you can cut them in half or smaller pieces, as you prefer.

Peel the onion and garlic and chop finely. Finely chop the tomato (you can just as well put it in a blender).

Prepare all the spices, to have them on the table at hand.

Heat the oil in a deep frying pan. Then add the mustard seeds. Put the lid on and harden them a little, until they stop jumping into the pan.

Then add the onion and garlic. Stir continuously so that it does not burn.

After 20 seconds, add the tomatoes and curry. Leave on the fire for 2 minutes, then add the green beans.

Pour in the coconut milk. Stir gently and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and replace.

Let the food boil for 20-30 minutes, or until the pods have tenderized and changed color.

Don't let them flutter. Add salt and mix gently.

Take the lid off and let the beans drop for another 10 minutes and become thicker, like a sauce.

Green beans with white sauce can be served on top with finely chopped parsley or green dill.

It is good with both bread and polenta. You can accompany it with a portion of potatoes or rice.

You can use yellow bean pods instead of green ones. The sheaths can be wider or narrower.

Coconut milk can be replaced with greasy cream & # 8211 if you do not prepare food for a day of fasting.

Curry powder is obtained from: turmeric, cumin, chilli, coriander, ginger, fennel, garlic, cinnamon, cloves, cumin, fenugreek, nutmeg, mustard seeds and pepper. You don't have to use them all, just a few, which you already have at home.

When I was little, I don't remember there being a week without an egg dish. I was a big fan of starch or scrambled eggs, my brother loves scrambled eggs, and our parents ate boiled eggs with great pleasure. Nothing seemed more beautiful to me than to go to the nest and take warm and fresh eggs that, in less than 10 minutes, turned into delicious recipes.

The recipe for green beans with creamy eggs is very simple, we eat it in the morning or in the evening, but today, because we didn't have much time, we prepared it for lunch. I also had a chicken breast that I sliced and fried. Wonderful was our lunch today!

I steamed the beans for 10 minutes, but if you don't have a steam device, you can boil it in salted water.
